Selling Your Mobile
ou can sell your mobile device to us in 3 easy steps.
1. PRICE
Find and select your device and we’ll quote you with the best price. Use the search function or look through our supported brands. Register/login and confirm once you have found your device and choose the method you would like to receive payment from.
2. PACK & POST
We send you a sales pack which contains a free reply paid parcel bag, sales receipt and instructions page. Pack your device along with the sales receipt and photocopied proof of your identity. Send it within 30 days of receiving your order confirmation via email. Carefully pack your mobile, invoice and your photocopied ID into the free parcel bag. Make sure you stuff the bag properly to ensure your mobile has a safe trip.
3. PAYMENT
You will be paid within 1-3 business days of us receiving and checking your mobile. Payment will be made via the chosen method of payment during checkout.
There are many ways to find out what brand and model your mobile device is.
The easiest two ways of discovering the brand and model of your mobile would be to check your phone bill (if you’re on a monthly plan) or by checking your receipt or email confirmation of purchase (if you bought the phone outright).
Alternatively, you can determine your device’s unique identifier (or IMEI number) by dialling * # 06 # on your handset. Copy the IMEI number displayed and type it into the search engine of imei.info to find out what brand and model you have.

No. It is against the law to sell/buy stolen goods. We check all mobile devices through an industry leading tool called CheckMEND to ensure they are not registered as lost or stolen, and if they are then all information relevant to the customer and device will be forwarded onto law enforcement.
If you cannot find it via brand, try searching the keywords such as the “ product model”. Example: “iPhone 5” or “Galaxy S5”.
If you still cannot find your product it is quite possible that it is not in our catalogue yet.
If you cannot find your phone on our website and it is very old and obsolete, it may be more economical to pop by your local Mobile Muster recycling bin.
If it is on our website but is worth $0 – we do still accept it. You’ll need a minimum of $5 worth to complete an order.
We accept mobile devices in the following conditions:
Perfect:
– Works flawlessly
– No noticeable flaws
– Has no scratches or scuffs
Good:
– No cracks on screen or body
– Powers on and makes calls
– No major scratches or scuffs
Faulty:
– Have no missing parts
– No water damage
– Is completely intact
– Not be activation locked
– Must turn on
Dead:
– Doesn’t turn on
– Is completely intact
– Not be activation locked
Yes, you will need a least $5 worth of mobile devices for your order to be valid.
It is valid for 30 days starting from the date you received an order confirmation via email.
Account Management
Yes, we require you to register in order to make an order. It allows us to help track your orders and help you in case there are any issues. There is no charge or fee for an account, it is entirely free.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. All devices that come in are wiped of all information as a security measure. Please check our privacy policy for more information.
In most cases this is due to your emails spam filter. It is vital that you are able to receive emails from us as we update you on your order’s progress.
If you find the confirmation email in your spam folder, change your emails spam filter settings so it does not happen again in future.
If you do not, please contact us so we can assist you.
If you have forgotten your password, please click on My Account > Lost your password.
It will prompt you to provide your email/username in which case your password will be sent to your email.
Packing & Posting
To ensure we process your order as quickly as possible, we need you to do the following. For more information, read this handy guide on preparing and posting your phone.
Required:
– Remove your device from your telecoms account
– Remove any passwords, pass-codes or tracking feature
– Wipe your device clean of any data
– Provide a photocopy of ID
Recommended:
– Backup your data
– Send your device as soon as possible
– Include accessories (optional)

Please note: You need to create a sales order prior to sending in your mobile device so that there is a paper-trail.
After your transaction is confirmed, you will receive an email with a pre-paid shipping label, which you can print off.
Carefully pack your item(s) and apply the pre-paid shipping label to your package.
Drop it off at any Australia Post outlet.
Proof of identity is required with each sale.
Customers will need to provide a photocopy of:
– A Passport or
– Driver’s License or
– Learners Permit (photo) or
– Licence issued under the Firearms Act (photo) or
– Tertiary Education Card (photo)
This is a legal requirement for all second-hand dealers by the Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 1989, S9. Our license registration number is SHD-0015255.
Payment
We send off payments within 1-3 business days upon receiving your mobile and checking if the condition matches the order; if it is significantly not as described we will contact you and you have the option of receiving the revised price or the device will be sent back. It is a risk free process on your end.
You can choose to be paid via EFT Bank Transfer or PayPal.
You can track your sales order at any given time by going to My Account.
